My experience with leaving the Mormon church

When Salt Lake City Calls

“One of the most fallacious doctrines originated by Satan and propounded by man is that man is saved alone by the grace of God.” Spencer W. Kimball, the 12th Mormon prophet…When Salt Lake City Calls, page 56.
I know I said I wouldn’t post anything anti-Mormon, if you even can call this that, but I just couldn’t believe the above quote I saw from the Facebook page for this book.  Wow, guess Mormons do believe the Bible to be fallible if it teaches doctrine from Satan!?!  😦
The following are from BibleGateway:
  1. Acts 15:11
No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are.”
    Acts 15:10-12 (in Context)
  2. Ephesians 2:5
made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.
    Ephesians 2:4-6 (in Context)
  3. Ephesians 2:8
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—
    Ephesians 2:7-9 (in Context)
  4. 2 Timothy 1:9
who has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,
    2 Timothy 1:8-10 (in Context)
